« CHARACTER INFORMATION »
Character: Sora
Canon: Kingdom Hearts
Canon point: After Re:Mind
OU or AU?: CRAU, because he'll have memories fromprismatica too.
Age: 16, close to 17. (His birthday is March 28)
Species: Human
AU clarification: In Prismatica, Sora grew up a bit more. He was still mostly himself, still super friendly and optimistic, but he also had time to cope with some of the horrific things that happened to him over the course of the Keyblade Wars as well as the events in that game. He was able to get a stronger grasp on his own heart as he developed some romantic relationships. He has experimented with his sexuality and right now has settled on the idea that he's bi and poly. He's still a teenager, so that is still developing, but he's always been able to connect with multiple people across different genders. He had a pretty mature relationship with both Kairi and Riku in that game, and while he won't expect a Kairi or Riku without those memories to hop right back into the relationship it does mean that he has a better understanding of how relationships like that work. In KH3 he admits he doesn't fully understand those things just yet, Prisma gave him a way to learn and grow.
While on Prisma he also learned a lot more about the history of his reality, including meeting some Foretellers. He still has no idea that [REDACTED] is [REDACTED] but he does know a bit about some of the events that took place in KHUX.
In Prisma, he had to face the idea that there are more shades of gray in the world. He learned that people aren't as easily categorized into "light" and "dark" but that some, like Riku, can exist in the space between. One of the people he grew very fond of in that game had to feed on other people's life-forces and blood to survive, and he could see that she usually worked with people to set up a relationship where they shared that with her. Before, he might have thought that she was scary, but in Prisma he learned that sometimes things aren't so easily categorized as good or evil.
Having some time after his war where he lived with people who loved him gave him the space he needed to learn to deal with some of his buried and largely ignored emotions. Those lessons will help him cope with whatever will happen in this game too. Though, it's important to note that he is still really good at rolling with the punches. When he encounters friends or loved ones he met in Prisma who have no memory of that place, he'll accept they are some different version of their friend pretty easily. He grew kind of used to that back there as people dropped and re-applied. Even before that, it was easy for him to adapt to the sense that they still are his friend no matter what.
Also, it's important to know that when I say he's "matured" I mean that he has a better understanding of who he is and how the world works - I don't mean that he suddenly stopped acting in a way that could be considered childish. He's still him. He'll still be wowed easily by tech and people with cool abilities, still be competitive, still the kid who hangs out with Disney characters. Those things haven't changed much.
As for abilities, except for Ven starting to teach him how to make his Keyblade armor, the only abilities he gained came from his moonblessing so I'm going to say that those have been completely replaced with the gembound abilities. Otherwise, the major change was that he had to learn to actually acknowledge some of his trauma.
In short, he's a little older and wiser and more used to some of the ways that a multi-fandom RPG works. It's good for him, and he'll be more equipped to handle what might happen here.

Disposition:
Optimistic: Sora almost always tries to look on the bright side of things, even when everything around him seems dire. He encourages others to do the same and nearly always tries again after defeat. This is much easier for him when he has his friends around, as he tends to see them as his strength. When he was younger, his need to always be smiling and always be bright could end up as a determent to his mental state at times, as he tended to not deal with trauma in order to focus instead on his optimism. Luckily, his time in Prisma helped him learn that this was unhealthy and he's more willing to rely on the people he loves to help him through tough times. He understands now that wanting everyone to be happy doesn't mean that you ignore the negative emotions too.
Emotionally Intelligent: Sora has strong emotional intelligence. This means that he responds to the emotions of others, relates to them, and does what he can to support them. He can cheer people up, give them a pep talk, or even challenge them when needed. It also means that blatant emotional manipulation tends to be ineffective on him because he has no time or patience for it. That said, he is also capable of great empathy and can even see things from the point of view of his enemy, provided they have given him a reason to try. He shows empathy towards the likes of Vanitas (offering him to join the light) and Luxord (telling him they'll play a game when they're "just guys") because they first express an opening for it. He doesn't waste his time letting people who would use that empathy to manipulate him get to him - for example, Sora blocks out stuff that the time-traveling young Xehanort says because he knows they're being said to manipulate him. He picks up on emotional cues instinctively, not even realizing that's what he's doing. Which is good, because he doesn't have the best intelligence in other areas...
Dense: He doesn't understand a lot of complex topics and will get frustrated or bored when people try to explain them. This happens in cute ways when it's Ienzo or Hiro describing computers or tech to him, or in challenging ways like when it's the Organization explaining their plots to him. He literally says things like "I can't computer" and his lack of math skills are a joke in KH3. He's not very book smart. This leaves him open to more subtle manipulation too because when a concept is too over his head he tends to discard or ignore it. He might be able to pick up on outright emotional manipulation, but he is weak to complex plots that play on his weaknesses.
Action-Focused: Sora can sometimes come off as impatient and reckless because rather than taking the time to think through his options he's the type to want to rush in and save the day by hitting things with a giant key. He is capable of more thoughtful action if it's something centered on empathy or emotion, but when it's tactical planning, he fails. He is also almost always ready to fight. He's good at fighting and he enjoys it. He can also be competitive and isn't above showing off when it comes to his fancy fighting skills. He loves a good contest or race and can be goaded into them easily. Once he's in it, he's in it to win. He's very much a "feel it, do it" kind of guy. He feels something is right, so he's going to do that thing while not considering the consequences or dangers. This means he can sometimes put himself in incredibly dangerous situations but with the strength of his heart and the power of his friends, he nearly always comes out okay. At least until the end of KH3.
Extremely Friendly: Friendship and loyalty are extremely important to Sora. He takes them seriously when it comes to his friends but will also react in horror when he finds out others have betrayed those who trusted them. This makes him very forgiving to people who want forgiveness and very angry that people who betray or harm others. He likes helping people and will go out of his way to help those in need - even when he really shouldn't. He has a habit of ignoring rules that would say he shouldn't help, like "world order." Friendship is the thing that matters most to him. He always prioritizes his friends when they need help.
Under pressure: Even before his time with Prisma, Sora was used to traveling between worlds and connecting with all types of people. He's literally befriended monsters, mermaids, aliens, talking animals, and sentient toys. He's used to finding people who are different in a world so unlike his own and fighting against forces of darkness and evil alongside them. After Prisma, he got used to being stuck in one of these worlds in a way he hadn't experienced before. He pretty much finds places like this to be exciting, a new place to explore with new people to befriend.
With castmates, Sora is even more likely to be happy being in a new place because he'll get to hang out with his friends. This isn't something he can do back home as he's currently stuck in Unreality. Without castmates, he will see it as a chance to learn about new people and will fully enjoy helping out this reality. He got really used to producing some kind of magical energy back on Prisma, producing Mana will feel normal to him because of that. He's also a really good character to help those who aren't as comfortable with platonic cuddling and such. On Prisma, helped a lot of his friends generate Chroma and here he's likely to do the same with Mana.
He's suited towards coping well with the setting of the world and the requirements of living here. He had done it before, and even before that, his travels meant he was used to new people and crazy magic.
Condition upon arrival: He's all good! Nothing really to note. He's a healthy young boy. He disappeared back home, but he's better now.
Abilities: Sora's personal strength is a strong heart. There are many times where people underestimate this strength and are proven wrong by his force of will. Sora's heart can form deep connections with others very quickly. His strength comes from those connections. He has a high level of empathy from this, and it lends to the emotional intelligence described above.
He is also a Keyblade wielder. Keyblade wielders have access to all kinds of magical abilities. Sora's magic is based on elements as he has access to all of the basic Final Fantasy type spells (ie, ice, fire, wind, cure, etc.) and then as those spells get more powerful they follow the same -ra, -aga, suffixes as Final Fantasy (fire upgrades to fira which upgrades to firaga). The Keyblade also allows him to use all sorts of defensive and offensive magic as well including special combos and buffs which make him stronger or give him area of effect spells.
The Keyblade also has a lot of other uses that are being uncovered in each game. A lot of these Sora is completely unaware of though. For example, in Birth by Sleep the Keyblade uses turn their Keyblade into personalized vehicles they use to travel between worlds. He started to learn how to do this from Ven in Prisma but hasn’t mastered it yet. Sora has learned lost abilities on his own before. For example, in KHUX the Keyblade users can open portals to other worlds just by pointing their Keyblades to empty space. Sora was unaware this could happen, but that the end of A Fragmentary Passage he's able to do it by just closing his eyes and pointing his Keyblade. He can do this throughout KH3, though obviously this will be nerfed in-game to prevent him from leaving the planet.
Another ability that the Keyblade has is to unlock pretty much any type of lock, even digital ones. This could be considered 'game-breaking' as well because it could enable him to escape or access places that might be locked off to the characters. The portals will not work and the unlocking ability will stop working for any game-related reasons.
Sora is also a very skilled fighter and really, really good at parkour. Something that is made all the easier because he had access to an ability called Flowmotion, which literally allows him to run up buildings, fling himself off of heights with no fall damage, zip around light poles, and all manner of gravity-defying stunts. He is very, very light on his feet and excels in both ground and aerial combat.
Inventory: His gummi phone, the Kingdom Key (his magical weapon), the wild card gifted to him by Luxord*, some potions. Otherwise, just the clothes on his back.
* Note: We don't know what the wild card does yet. Sora would have it on his person, but at this time it will be unusable - just a normal blank playing card.
Gembond: Amethyst
Gem Location: Right over his heart

Sample: Here he is on the TDM
Notes: Here is his wiki but I warn you that KH is not the kind of thing that is easy to make sense of by just reading it...
I wanted to clarify, I'm taking him from canon during the fight against Yozora in the KH3 DLC and from the point I dropped him in Prisma, so he will remember all of his canon memories on top of the Prisma memories. He will also be around the age he gained in Prisma. That makes sure he's caught up to all of his possible canonmates but mature enough to handle the setting of this game.
Finally, he's an adorable pirate. That doesn't really matter for the app, but it's true:
