[Sora probably would have thought it was a lot weirder a year or two ago, but now he's almost kind of used to people walking around with his face.

It is a little strange to see a younger version of himself, though. He finds himself experiencing a sense of nostalgia.

He steps in and is curious about how Skye has been living. He realizes he really should be more involved with him. He knows what it's like to be thrust into a strange world and have to figure out how to deal with that. And it's not like Donald and Goofy are here to help him figure it out.]

Oh, I don't need anything, thanks. But if it makes you feel more relaxed to get me something I can have some water maybe?

[Sometimes you need to busy your hands to figure out how you want to word things.]

Uh... I guess I never realized... Do you have to eat and drink now?

[ With a smile and a nod, Skye hurries off to the kitchen to get a glass of water, calling back: ]

I do! But I don't really know how to make anything and when I tried to cook it caught on fire, so...

[ He's pretty much just been living off of water, fruit, and easy to make things like sandwiches. The kitchen itself is pretty empty.

Being ~real~ took way more work than he actually expected. ]

[Sora's eyes widen a bit.]

Okay. Well, I'll teach you how to make some stuff! And you should come over to our apartment more and eat with us too, I bet Kairi and Riku would love to have you around.

[He's definitely going to be checking up on Skye a lot more now.]

You aren't alone here, okay?

[ There's no way to pretend the thought doesn't thrill him as he returns with the water. Skye had made friends, of course, but with trying to figure out how to balance this new world, he'd definitely not been as social as he'd have liked.

And he definitely missed Riku and Kairi. ]

I'd like that! It's a lot harder doing all this stuff than I thought it'd be.

[He takes the water with a thanks, but he focuses more on Skye now.]

How are you doing with Chroma?

That's what I needed to ask about... I'm starting to realize that not being the Datascape is really expensive. I'm doing okay, but there are apparently ways to earn more...

[ Even talking to 'himself', this is really embarrassing, oh boy.

Skye fidgets, cheeks pink. ]

I don't really...understand it. I have the memories, but they weren't really the most important thing in the Datascape and I only know what you knew from the time I was made... [ He's babbling, he knows. Based on what he'd been told and what he knew, Data Sora had been created from the information in the journal before Sora's adventure even started. Sora had experienced and learned so much that he never had. ]

It's kind of hard to figure everything out. Does that make sense at all...?

[Sora lets him talk. Then, after a moment, he sets down the water glass.]

Yeah. All of this makes sense.

Let's start with something easy.

[He moves to sit down on the couch.] Come over here, okay? We can cuddle while I answer any questions you have.

[ Skye follows obediently, more than happy to take up the invitation to cuddle. Sure, the entire situation is a little odd, but he's happy to have his other self around to help.

He cuddles up next to Sora, relaxing. ]

I'm not even sure what I don't know.

[Sora settles and puts an arm around Skye. This way they can both earn Chroma while partaking in some affection. He doesn't even think it's weird. If anything, he feels more protective of Skye because of their situation.

He thinks about all the things he would have liked to hear someone say to him when he was younger.]

That makes sense. I didn't know any of this stuff when I was younger, and I doubt the guys or the King thought of any of this when they programmed you.

So... let's start with the basics. If you're like me, then you like both girls and guys, right?

This kind of stuff... it doesn't feel right to just limit it to one person? Your heart tells you that you could snuggle up against any one of your friends and be happy that way?

[ He has to think about that for a moment. Sora's arm around him is calming, contact something he'd definitely been feeling a need for recently. ]

...Yeah. It seems silly to limit yourself just because someone is a boy or a girl.

[ Riku is handsome to him, but Kairi is also really pretty. The idea that he wouldn't find one of them attractive or be willing to snuggle them or something because of what they were... ]

As long as you like them, it shouldn't matter.

[Sora is kind of glad that Skye is actually so much like him. It makes it easier to explain all of this if he imagines he's going back in time and talking to himself.

He trails his hand over Skye's arm and back, comforting him and making sure to get as much value of their time together.]

So, in order to get Chroma you have to find someone you like, and you likes you back, and you can do stuff like this. You can just sit with them and let your bodies be close.

Then there's stuff that's more than that. Like kissing and other stuff.

[ 'Other things'. And there it is, the part Skye is most confused and embarrassed to ask about. ]

Have you...?

Yeah. With Riku and Kairi.

[ wait, give him a second. his brain might have broken a little. ]

Both of them?

Well, yeah. [Sora smiles because now he can imagine what his face would have looked at if someone had told him when he was younger that he wouldn't have to pick between them.]

I love both of them, and I can't imagine being with one of them without the other.

[ dangit, he has to know. ]

At the same time?

Not yet. But it will probably eventually. The three of us all really get along.

It's good you don't have to choose between them! The three of you should always be together.

[ it does make him a little lonely with the lack of his own Riku and Kairi, but more than that, he's happy. ]

Though... You've done that and I haven't even kissed anyone. Even kissing seems like it'd be embarrassing.

It might seem that way, but it's really nice. I like the kissing part a lot.

What if I'm bad at it? The kissing and...other stuff? Who would I even kiss?

[ Kairi or Riku seem like the most obvious answer here, but they're clearly spoken for. ]

I think that when the time comes and you have someone you want to kiss, you'll do what your heart says. And that will never make it bad.

[ Skye cuddles in closer to him, yawning a little. ]

I guess...I wouldn't mind cuddling or kissing my Riku.

[Sora chuckles, because wanting to kiss Riku is very relatable.]

Yeah, I totally get that.

[Then, after a moment,] Is there anyone you've met here that you might like to kiss?

[ After thinking for a moment, Skye shakes his head. ]

Not yet... Riku and Kairi are the only ones I'd ever thought about.

Oh--! But not that I'd try to or anything, since you're dating them. That'd be really messed up...and anyway, I don't think they'd do that to you.

I wouldn't mind if you did...

[Sora replies, his voice gentle. He isn't sure how to explain how open he feels about this kind of stuff. He is dating the two of them, yes, but also he teased Kairi about finding a girlfriend, and he found himself cuddling with Ven.]

I think our hearts are big enough to have more than just a few people in them.

[Then he chuckles a bit.] And in our case, that is way true. After all, Roxas, Xion, and Ven were all hanging out in here without me knowing.
