[ Luffy does take Sora up on his offer. He doesn't really plan it, he just...shows up. That's how Luffy is. Plans aren't really his thing; he much prefers to just do things whenever and however.

And he wants to see this TV thing!

(They have one at the house but he doesn't understand how to use it at all. Probably most of the Straw Hats don't. Once he learns how to use it, though, they'll probably all watch it a bunch out of curiosity.)

He knocks on the door, maybe louder than he needs to. ]

Sora! It's me, Luffy! I wanna watch a show in a box!!

Yes! Come on in and I'll show you!

[Sora doesn't seem even a little surprised to see Luffy, even though it was out of the blue. He just seems thrilled to have a friend over.

He leads the way to the couch.]

Sit here! That's the TV. [he points out the powered-down TV.] It's not on yet, but we should get comfortable. Do you want any snacks or something to drink?

[gumgum]

[ Luffy grins wider, filling his face with that smile for a moment, and follows Sora into the living room. He flops onto the couch and looks at the TV. ]

Oh, we have one of those! I don't know what it does though.

[ He's never really thought about it. Do the other Straw Hats know how to use it? Who knows! ]

I love snacks! Meat is the best snack but I'll eat anything!

[ He doesn't do please and thank you very often, because what are manners, but it isn't that he doesn't appreciate it. He clearly does. ]

[Sora ends up with some grapes and cheese sticks. Which isn't meat, but they don't have a lot of that just sitting around for snacks. He brings them over with some bottles of water and then plops down on the couch.]

Okay! So, uh, first you gotta turn it on! [He picks up the remote to show Luffy how it works.

When the TV switches on it's in the middle of some kind of comedy show. It's brightly colored with characters that act just a little exaggerated.]

[ Luffy appreciates pretty much all snacks, so he accepts what Sora has.

He watches the way Sora turns on the remote, though it's anyone's guess if he'll retain the info later.

He turns immediately to the tv when it comes on, staring with wide eyes. ]

That's happening right now and we're watching it here?

[ He understands the idea of that sort of broadcast because some snails can do it. The nuances of television, though? Absolutely not. ]
